For many years, I've been passionate about music and sound in general. It’s a vast field, but so fascinating that you never stop learning.

The day I discovered music composition thanks to my brother, I was quite young, and it was just an activity I found enjoyable to practice. However, I didn’t dive into sound right away. It wasn’t until the end of 2023, during my video game creation studies, that I realized how important and essential sound design is for me, especially in video games. At that time, I was still searching for a field that truly resonated with me.

Sound design immediately caught my eye, and I loved it straight away. The situation was quite challenging at the time because my team and I were working on our graduation project (MOD PROTOCOL). That’s when I suggested taking on the role of sound designer for the project, as I was already using several tools known as DAWs (Digital Audio Workstations) like FL Studio, Audacity, and others.

From that moment, I invested everything into sound design. Even though my studies didn’t cover this aspect of the audiovisual world, I trained myself as an autodidact, learning every day from the greatest sound designers in video games, film, television, and more. Thanks to the MOD PROTOCOL project, I had the chance to practice extensively and learn a lot about various design techniques that enhance efficiency and save time. I was also able to purchase Reaper, a DAW that is extremely practical and easy to use for sound design. Since then, all my projects have been created and refined using this software.

My greatest strength is my motivation and determination to successfully complete every project I undertake, no matter what. This drive allows me to push forward, practice, and dream bigger without overthinking or doubting whether I’m skilled enough to work in the industry or whether I’ll succeed without a formal sound-related degree.

Of course, I plan to pursue an intensive year of sound design studies to master all the techniques I might still lack in my knowledge base. However, I firmly believe that without practice, success is unattainable. That’s why I practice every day, whether it’s for group projects or personal ones. I’m proud to see my skills improving in a field I’ve learned entirely on my own.

SWORD SLASH VFX - SOUND DESIGN

Cette conception sonore fût très intéressante à produire d'un côté éfficacité et dynamisme. 

J'ai voulu réaliser ce projet en un temps très court tout en montrant, via le son, le dynamisme du combat. ​

SOUND DESIGN FOR MOD PROTOCOL

For my graduation project in video game development, I was able to take care of the sound part of the game.


Dans ce trailer, j'ai pu concevoir des environnements sonores grâce à:

- REAPER : Un DAW très utilisé dans la conception sonore du jeu vidéo
- Des banques de sons comme Epidemic Sounds, Strata 2 from AudioKinetic
- L'enregistrement de sons avec mon micro (Foley)
- Des techniques d'édition et de mixage très courantes :
~ La réverbération
~ Les EQ's (Equalizers)
~ Les modificateurs de pitch
~ Le panoramique (ou pan)
